In this course, learners study the relationship between language and logic and practice sound deductive and inductive reasoning. Learners develop the skills used to draw sound conclusions from available evidence and construct and present reasonable cases to support them.
Learners also distinguish fact from judgment and identify formal and informal fallacies of language and thought, becoming more adept at recognizing poor reasoning they encounter in their personal and professional lives. |
