The course curriculum will include history, theories, responsibilities, and functions of primary parts of the criminal justice system: police, courts, and corrections. Particular emphasis is placed on the interrelationships of the various components, as well as professionalism and ethics in all functions. Differences between the criminal justice and juvenile system will be explored also. |
